Will Aerohive seek Wi-Fi Certification of Voice Enterprise for its products?

I notice that Aerohive's products that support Voice Enterprise are not certified for this purpose by the Wi-Fi allicance.

This is understandable as their test dates pre-date the introduction of HiveOS 6.0 and certification was not finalised until mid 2012.

Is this something that is planned for the products that now support the feature that are sold today?

It would be great to know that the functionality has passed the independent interoperability and conformance tests that are performed.

What about Protected Management Frames under the core testing programs?

Thanks,

Thanks, Mike!

By way of context... the reason that I asked is that I switched Voice Enterprise on for testing purposes and a significant number of clients failed to be able to connect to a WPA2-Enterprise SSID so it had a significant compatibility bite.

(I more than suspect that it is due to client bugs though.)

I also had the same issue independently with Protected Management Frames when enabled optionally with BIP.

Might Aerohive have a common client compatibility matrix that it is willing and able to share for these features with WPA2-Personal and WPA2-Enterprise?

Regards,

Nick
