Why does HiveOS misreport its interfaces over LLDP and SNMP?

I have noticed that our internal NMS shows that all our APs are connected at 10Mb/s to the mgt0 interface on the AP.

It appears that HiveOS is misreporting over both LLDP and SNMP so to claim that the interface that the switch connects to is mgt0 when it should be, in our case, eth0.

Should I raise this with our reseller as a 'formal' bug, which seems an overkill, or can I leave it reported informally here as it is a minor issue?

Thanks,

Nick

Hi Nick,

If you think you've found a bug then I suggest you contact your support organization (your reseller or Aerohive, depending on how you purchased our products). They should be able to assist you in troubleshoting this, and/or filing a bug on your behalf.

Thanks,

Amanda
