Why am I seeing "IP address of the CAPWAP server changed."

About one third of my (80) AP330s have reported that the IP address of the CAPWAP server changed.  Yet when I remote into an AP, it shows the IP that I was expecting.  So what is causing this log entry?

Part of the reason I ask is that I have a policy set in our enterprise firewall to insure that the traffic from the APs to the HMOL is expedited and I use this specific IP.

If you are using HiveManager OnLine then there is no guarantee that your instance of HMOL will stay anchored on a given host. Our CloudOps folks will occasionally move VHMs among hosts to better balance the load. I suggest you modify your firewall policy to use FQDN instead of IP address if you are trying to limit the outbound communications from your access points. 

I have occasionally seen messages from an AP indicating something changed when in reality it didn't. Almost always I eventually figure out it was because I made a change (which raises a "dirty" flag internally to HiveManager), then changed it back. 

Were you making any changes in your configs recently?
