The correct answer is "it depends".

The HiveOS 6.5 branch of code has been deployed in more customers and has been available longer, so from the code-stability perspective it may be the better release, but we have introduced numerous new features and capabilities in the releases between 6.5 and 8.1, so if you NEED any of those features then 8.1 is the way to go.

Are you and your organization early-adopters of technology? Go with 8.1.
Are you and/or your organization risk-averse? Stick with 6.5.

Sana,
I am not sure if we have any comparison tables on the support pages, you may have to retrieve the various release notes and stitch together your own chain-of-changes.

Hi there.

I have AP230 and i tried to upgrade to 8.1r2 and 8.2r1

And both of them are very ustabil.

My user loses their connection and has difficulty to get back on.

In same time it is very slow.

I have downgraded to 6.5r8 and its run stabil, but i am not sure that i get the optimum out of my AP230.

Any ide to witch version i should i select ?
