Hello AerohiveBEE Keepers!

Welcome to Operation "Where's the BEE" where we ask you to show off your new AerohiveBEE. Here's how it works:

We’ve been tweeting photos of the #AerohiveBEE doing just about everything imaginable from riding rollercoasters to doing homework on an iPad. Here's an example of the #AerohiveBEE in action:

... and now you can play along too. Take a photo of your AerohiveBEE doing something fun or interesting and post it here with a reply to enter our raffle drawing.

As with all contests, some rules apply:

  1. Post a photo of your #AerohiveBEE in action as a reply to this thread, and also tell us in one sentence, "Why enterprise Wi-Fi is strategic to your organization."

  2. The contest begins Monday, July 15, 2013 and ends Friday, Sept. 27, 2013.
  3. You can submit as many photos of the bee as you want.

  4. One raffle ticket per photo posted on the community.

  5. One Bee Copter raffle win per contestant.

  6. You are free (and encouraged!) to tweet a photo of your bee using the #AerohiveBEE hashtag, but you must post your photo here on this thread as a reply to get your raffle ticket for the drawings.

  7. As a Grand Finale, we will hold a vote on the community on Sept 27th in which we judge the Top 3 best photos chosen by the community manager. The community will then vote on the best one of the three. Whichever photo gets the most stars, wins. The winner gets an iPad Mini!

  8. Important: Please be appropriate – offensive photos will be removed immediately!

Don't have your own AerohiveBEE yet? To get yours, you will need to join the community and post a reply to the Wanna BEE thread (see instructions at top of that thread). BEE requests cannot be fulfilled via this thread.

Thanks and have fun!

The HiveNation Community

Note: Be sure to "unfollow" this thread if you want to avoid email alerts for every reply.

Enterprise WiFi is important to us because it allows our BYOD network to carry as much data as a barge on the mighty Mississippi.

Living dangerously...

Why is enterprise Wi-Fi is strategic to your organization?

Because how would it look for a technology company to have unreliable Wi-Fi - Can't gain any customers unless it at least looks like you're on the cutting edge...

AeroHive Enterprise Wi-Fi is strategic to our organization because it is the ONLY way that we can make configuration changes, monitor our network and guarantee the best user experience; all while laying on the beach!

Aerohive Enterprise WiFi can be operated by WorkerBees. This is important when we have a group of guest users needing the network.

That awkward moment when you realize the the song "Imma Be" isn't about you. Aerohive gives administrators the ability to restrict or block certain websites to make the network even more efficient.

Enterprise wi-fi is strategic to our organization because -
I work for our State Judicial System. Our courts are in the process of going paperless. The Aerohive wireless system has guaranteed that attorneys, judges, court reporters (and hundreds of other judicial employees) will always have access to their records and other critical information.
So for the last year I have been installing Aerohive access points in all of the Iowa courthouses. To help keep track of my installs, I take pictures of the courthouses to keep with the pertinent information. This last week has been particularly heavy with installs and I just sat down tonight to organize the pictures. As you can see, I have a photo bomber!
This is my picture of the Franklin County Courthouse -

I hit 5 counties between yesterday and today, and 8 more counties yet this week. I imagine I'm going to see much more of him.
Now this is a picture I intended to take. We were in Winnebego County and after I loaded everything, I noticed he was missing! It didn't take long to find him. He was deep into a conversation with a new friend he had found,

Enterprise Wi-Fi is strategic to our organization to enable secure vendor and contractor access, and provide visibility into how wireless can impact our business overall.
