I am eagerly awaiting this release of HiveManager / HiveOS 6.1r2 as it contains a few bug fixes for issues that affect me.

Will it be available soon?

Thanks!

I have written an extension to NPS that maintains a distributed HA synchronous state table of all active RADIUS sessions (between NPS instances).

I intend for this to be used for logging and SSO purposes within networks.

As part of this, there is an expectation on a NAS to perform 'by the book' accounting.

There are a few issues that I have reported that HiveOS 6.1r2 apparently resolves.

(While I could Aerohive code workarounds with a few hacks, I have decided to not and instead wait for the revised code in the interests of correctness and portability.)

The issues I hope to see resolved in 6.1r2 based on what I have been told are:

1) Accounting-On / Accounting-Off flapping at boot with incorrect Called-Station-Ids.

2) Multi-Session-Ids that are not in UTF-8.

3) User-Name AVP truncation to 31 characters in Access-Request and Accounting-Request packets.
