Hive User Groups are local user groups where Aerohive resellers, customers, and those interested in Aerohive can meet on a regular basis with Aerohive and each other to discuss and to learn about current networking topics centered around Wi-Fi and network access.

What should you expect at the User Group events?

  1. Presentations and demonstrations for the purpose of education

  2. Q & A sessions on networking and wireless topics, socializing with Aerohive customers, resellers and employees

  3. Free food and drinks and of course, giveaways.

A schedule of upcoming HUGs events can be found here.

Are there any plans to bring something similar to the UK?

Our international marketing team has informed me that this is a program we will be bringing to the UK, but there are no HUGs events scheduled for the UK in the next couple of months. I would recommend contacting your local rep and indicating your interest.

However, Aerohive will be speaking at a seminar in London on May 17th, which you are very welcome to attend. It is not sector specific, but will provide good insight into Wi-Fi.

Here are the details of this UK event: http://www.brightnewmedia.co.uk/aeroh...

I would love to host a HUG for Michigan. We're a local school district that has adopted Aerohive this year, and many other local schools and county consortia are adopting Aerohive in Michigan as well. Who could I contact to get that going?

Elson, I'd start with contacting your local Aerohive Regional Sales Manager. I've attended a HUG event and it was awesome!

Is there something planned for Germany in the future? Or any other event happening here in 2013/2014 with Aerohive?

Hi Lenya,

HUGs events are currently only held in the US. We do, however, have international webinars, which can be found here here.

You can also follow us on Twitter to stay in the loop on upcoming in-person events. Our international Twitter handle is @AerohiveEU and our corporate Twitter handle is @Aerohive.

Hi Amanda,

thank you for the handles. I subscribed for the next webinar and am looking forward to it.
I hope there will be a HUG in Germany, or Europe, one day. I'd love to meet you guys.

It seems like Hive user groups is dead, eh?  Don't see anything on the calendar for 2015

There was one in my area (Chicagoland) just last week.  Looks like they are put together by local sales team at a client location.
