What ports need to be open for Hive school?!?!

Hi Folks,

Currently I cannot get Hive school working when I have the designated devices connected to two different networks that have an deny access list between them. I've ran a number of packet captures and gathered a dozen ports to allow access but it is still not working. In addition, every time I run another capture I receive a couple more UDP ports trying to communicate. So my questions is there a site or knowledge base that describes the ports being used in order to get Hive school working properly?

thanks,

I've tried doing a Packet capture but I get a number of random ports, so my only way of getting this to work is to allow any one direction to the DMZ guest network. I was hoping someone in aerohive could help me out with this.

This will be similar to how Chromecast works - it will use a range of UDP ports which I have always found problematic within HiveManager. Unfortunately after viewing the 'technical documentation' for Hiveschool I'm still no closer to an answer.

Arison, how have you configured your firewall to allow this?
