I am rolling out a VoIP system into the school. I run 330 APs, mainly a HP Procurve switch environment, but I have one 2024 AeroHive switch. The data in the school runs on the default VLAN, the voice on VLAN 5. I have the switch trunked from one of the HP switches along with two of the 330 APs. If I run a VLAN Probe from the APs, they find the VLAN 5 and the phones can connected to the VoIP system. If I run the VLAN Probe from the swtich, I can not find the VLAN 5. The ports on the HP are configured the same for the APs and the switch. The network policy for the switch apperas as follows

Can anyone point me toward how to get the switch to be able to access the VLAN - and the phone connected to port 2 from there?

Can you try from the CLI?

int mgt0 dhcp-probe vlan-range1 5 timeout 2

A few CLI commands I found helpful

Does the vlan exist on the switch

#show vlan brief

#show interface switchport

does the trunk actually have the vlans expected.

Is your mgt0 interface on vlan 1 and native vlan 1?
