Me and my company just enrolled a large Educational centre. Because they have a lot of people going in and out they created PPSK for all inhouse mobile devices and implemented Guest access. All via the Usermanager. My company manages the Hivemanager, not the end-customer.
Together we encoutered a couple of shortcommings to the Usermanager, which in our view, can be solved rather quickly.
a. Option to configure the Permanent user template:
1. Show SSID for which the PPSK is valid.
2. Edit header and footer text.
b. Possibility to make selections on userlists (for example per Usergroup)
c. Information on communication to end-users (This PPSK is send to email/printed on 'given date')
d. PSK valid-time to be choosen at the moment you’re entering a new user.

Anyone else having the same feature requests for the Usermanager?

User Manager is for supporting Private PSKs rather than guests, although Private PSKs can be used for guest management.

If you require a more feature rich guest management system then ID Manager may be more suitable.

Hi Micha, Indeed, as Crowdie pointed out, ID Manager is where a lot of the future PPSK enhancements are located; if you are an HMOL customer, you can start a 30 day trial of IDM with all of the bells and whistles very easily by clicking the "Request a Trial" button. It takes 1-2 minutes, and then you're ready to go.
