My company is deploying several BR200 routers. From a previous project, we have about a hundred Verizon PC770 ExpressCard cellular wifi cards. We had an idea to get some extra mileage out them by getting an ExpressCard to USB adapter to use that as a USB Modem for failover. Any suggestions on how to make that work?
Not a big deal if it doesn't, but it would save us a nice chunk-o-change.

HiveOS incorporates specific device drivers for USB modems, and expects to communicate with them via USB. I won't go so far as to say that what you desire CANNOT work, but I am pretty sure that no one here at Aerohive HQ has tried what you are asking.

If you haven't already purchased your BR200s, you may want to consider our new one with integrated LTE modem that was designed specifically for the Verizon network.
