Upload Configuration error, Bonjour

I'm trying to add a Bonjour Gaetway to two of our AP121 configurations, but every time I try to upload I receive the following error:

Upload Configuration: An error occurred when executing the following CLI command: bonjour-gateway filter rule 0 *._airplay._tcp. action permit.
Unknown error
Update User Database: The upload operation was aborted because a previous process failed.

No clue which process has failed, or what the 'unknown error' is - not particulalry helpful error messages.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi Paul

Can you try renaming the rule to rule 1 instead of 0, also did you do a complete upload or delta upload?

Hi Chris,

I can't see any way of renaming the rule - the Hive Manager GUI doesn't display the rule number, and similarly with upload, there's just one Upload button - no option for a delta upload.

Hi Paul

What version of Hive Manager & HiveOS are you running?. When you select a device to update you can choose whether to do a auto/delta or full config push. It is slightly different in 5.1 and 6.1 software, so let me know which version you have.

Hi Chris,

HIve Manager is Enterprise 6.1r1, and all the APs are on the same revision.

Upload and activate configuration



Click the settings at the top right and you can choose which type of update to perform



Try a complete upload.

Thanks, that seems to have successfully uploaded. At least now I can test to see whether the Bonjour settings are working.
