After the upgrade my dashboard applications only show "None of the devices in your VHM meet the filter criteria. Please change your filter."
I have removed and added the widgets and also tried changing the applications being watched in reports but to no avail. I also now only have the ability to select 7 applications in reports rather than 30.

Any ideas ?

Hi Andrew,

For the first issue you mentioned, could you let me know from what version of HiveManager you upgraded?

Regarding the message about only having seven applications instead of thirty, that was a change we made back in HiveManager 6.1r2. In that release we made some significant improvements to our Application Visibility and Control feature, mainly the auto discovery of applications by usage rather than by being limited to thirty statically assigned applications. The watchlist in 6.1r2 and above is now more for targeted applications you always want to keep an eye on, no matter how small the traffic usage as application traffic by users is now automatically rolled up and reported on regardless of any watchlist.

For more information, the 6.1r2 New Features Guide has an excellent write up on the change on page nine.

Hope this helps

Hi Brian,

Solved!  In the applications dashboard page, in the "device groups" pain, a planning drawing had been selected somehow during the update. don't know how but I hadn't noticed this so hence the filter was invalid.

Thanks for you help though.
