Unable to ping the licensing server from VM VPN appliance

Hi all

We have a VM VPN appliance which we've only just started to configure. However at step one, we've hit a snag.

When we run the set up wizard and assign the server an IP address, it then checks the licensing details, at which point it tells us that it can't ping the licensing server. It goes on then to ask for the activation code, but then fails as it can't speak back to the licensing server.

We don't block any outbound ports at all. We can ping the box (at least internally) and from the internet router.

Any ideas why it might report that?

Hi Oliver,

I just looked at your activation code on my side. It appears the code is valid against 1 serial number which has already been activated. Have you previously setup a VM VPN using this same activation code?
