Trouble uploading configuration to AP121s

I have recently taken receipt of 7 new AP121s, however, I have been completely unable to upload any configuration whatsoever, as I constantly receive the message:

Upload Configuration: CLI: “security-object Hive security aaa radius-server backup1” error, whether config attribute “backup1". A configuration generation error occurred in AAA Client Settings: “Hive". The configuration generation error might have been caused by a HiveManager software upgrade or configuration restoration. Update User Database: The upload operation was aborted because a previous process failed.

I have attempted to perform factory-resets, as well as upgrading the HiveOS on all units to the latest release (6.1r1), yet I still receive this error across all 7 AP121s, preventing me from configuring the devices.

under your radius authentication AAA client settings

remove backup1 and see if you can push the config.

then add backup1 back

also verify that backup1 is a valid AAA client

IP has to be correct
server type auth/acct
shared secret must match
ports should be 1812 and 1813 - unless you radius server is using the old non standard ports 1645 and 1646

you should have a primary server
and backup1 as secondary.

depends on your AAA setup
