Hi All, today I can get an aerohive demo kit for my test but I have a problem, let me explain us.

The HiveManager is virtual and has the 4.0r1.a software version and the HiveAP 330 has 5.1r5 and when i try to upload a configuration file from HiveManager to HiveAP it send the next error: "The HiveOS version control file is missing". I ́ve been reading that the problem is because both devices has different version, an my question is: ¿It ́s strictly necesary homologate two versions to work?

You must have a version of HiveManager that supports the version of HiveOS, yes.

EDIT: I have cleared this up with Pedro via Skype.

Can you always downgrade an HiveAP, to fit the hive manager version? Or can there be situations, where this is not possible?
