Hi Rob,

Currently you can authenticate to a local HiveManager (VM or physical appliance) using local admin's or RADIUS authenticated users from an external database. This does not apply to HiveManager online.

If you would like to learn more about the implementation of RADIUS authentication, open the help file in HiveManager (top right) and navigate to home - administration - aux files - RADIUS dictionary.

Thanks
Mathew

This sounds like a step in the right direction but even the help file doesn't state were the settings are in the HiveManager VM or what needs to be done to tell the HiveManager VM to use RADIUS for authentication (or any non-local method for that matter) instead of or with the local user database. Can someone elaborate on this or point to another help file location or document that indicates what needs to be done to implement external authentication for HiveManager admins? Thanks.

I know this is an old post but for those looking for an answer... Look in the help file location below.  I think this can only be done from your home VHM.

Home > Administration > HiveManager Services > HM Admin Authentication

Hope this helps.
