Switches not sending any syslog info

Hello!

We have configured syslog to read information about an Aerohive environment at a customers site.
This has to do with the very limited support through SNMP for Aerohive.

We noticed that the Access Points are sending syslog messages on an informational basis but the switches ar not sending any type of info.
When we switch to debug, nothing is sending anything.

The most important thing would be the switches, we really need the info.
Is there anyone who has any experience or has some ideas??

Regards,

Maurice

What version of HiveOS are you using on the switches?

I'd recommend using HiveOS 6.5r3 and not HiveOS 6.6r1b on the switches. There are Syslog packet record format standards compliance fixes for Syslog in that release as a side to what you're reporting. If you can reproduce your issue with that version, I'll attempt to reproduce and file a bug if I can do that.

Cheers,

Nick
