I have a single SSID (PPSK) with 3 different user profiles mapped to 3 different VLANs. All the APs are connected to an Aerohive switch. Can I use the DHCP server in the switch to service all 3 VLANs?

At this point I do not believe we can configure DHCP on the L2 switch (at least not in the HiveManager GUI) - If I am wrong, someone will correct me.

If the Aerohive switch is in "router" mode, you will have to create networks for those three VLANs and enable DHCP. It would be a better practice to have a router or an external DHCP server hand out user IP addresses.

Or you could configure one of the APs as a DHCP server, but I would recommend against that except for maybe a Guest VLAN.

Best practice would be to use an external DHCP server.
