SNMP Server setup with spiceworks

Hi,

we want to be able to scan our ap's with our software spiceworks it scans with snmp
i setup the snmp server in our have and aloud the snmp on the ports

still i cant connect  with snmp it doesnt find any info
howevr when i scan with ssh it works but want more info so thats not an option

can anyone help

hi,
i just did soms cli commands on the one of the ap's if snmp policie was applied
it has the mgm server like i setup and has the community string also
i also checked snmp is enabled on eth0

any other ideas ?  i can ping and ssh buit nu snmp

i tryed with our progam spiceworks and with an other tool from the mgm server and have no luck.

Did you read my comment in the thread?  Check to make sure that you have adjusted the traffic filter in the network policy adjusted to allow snmp.

hi bill
i have enabled snmp on the interfaces
but it doesnt work ssh works but int only scant the ip and knows that it is a linux machine so i have the iventoried now but without info
