SMS is not automatic delivered when using PPSK selfregister

Hello, i test the PPSK selfregister Portal and see that SMS is not automatic delivered. I get only the eMail that the Account is succesful generated. SMS and eMail are enabled on the User Group. If i add the Delivery later under the User directly i get the SMS. Any Idea?

Hey Neo,

I have the same issue.

I'm from germany and if you put the number in the format +491232345 it works. By the way +49 is the country code for Germany.

That's the good news, but the bad news are:

The CWP does not accept a + in the phone number. I have tried to change the + to 00, but that was also not successful.

Hi,

I've found the same issue here in the UK.

Self registration portal doesn't allow the "+" symbol or "00" (which can be used as an alternative to the + symbol). However, if you only enter the country code i.e. "49" for Germany, or "44" for the UK, it's accepted and you should receive the SMS.

This is contradictory to the portal, where it doesn't work with just "44" and required the "+44"?!

Seems like Aerohive need to work on this one? Our users aren't necessarily going to confirm to using just "44" and their mobile number (omitting the first "0" as well).
