Radius Authentication

Is there a definitive guide for setting up Aerohive AP's with a windows based radius server? Something that runs through setting on both the AP itself and the Radius server?

I have just built a new radius server but am not having much luck getting radius authentication to work.

On the server side, I have added my AP as a radius client. and then set up a network policy with the following;

I've made sure the ID matches (its the default of 1) and I've double checked that the secret is the same on both sides.

I've also added the radius server under AAA client settings in HMOL, and added it to the SSID. The SSID shows up but authentication fails.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tested this by using the RADIUS Test under Tools in your HMOL.

If you've added the APs as Authenticators (clients) in your RADIUS server and configured things correctly on the Aerohive end, the above test should pass if you use a username/password that is in the group that is allowed to auth with the .1X settings.
