Radio profile for dedicated mesh network

I'm setting up a couple of AP141 access points. The 2.4GHz radio is for client access and the 5GHz radio will be dedicated to a portal/mesh network to link 2 wired switches. While looking at the sample radio profiles, I was surprised to see there wasn't a sample profile for a dedicated mesh connection. Are there recommended radio settings for this? I need no client access at all on this radio, just the mesh setup.

Thanks!

Hi John

The settings you require to put an Access Point's radio into Mesh mode are found in the settings for that particular Device: hence under Device settings.

From the configuration screen, select the AP, Modify and then select the radio button that defines which radios are to be in Access mde and which in backhaul mode.  You don't need a special Radio Profile.

Hope this helps

I have the mesh running and it actually seems to run well thus far.  I'm more questioning if there are radio settings that should be or can be changed so that the mesh network is configured optimally.
