What is the correct way to remove a rogue wifi unit, connected using our company's wifi?

The device connects and is broadcasting signal and although there isn't a need for this signal and it has been asked to be removed, it pops up every day...

We are using a mix of 320/120's and the single rogue device is a netgear product. I do see the ability to "Remove" the netgear product, but not sure exactly what this does, because it pops back up in a matter of minutes...

Hello Luke,

When you say "Remove Rogue" that could mean you want to seek out the rogue and physically remove it from your network.  This can be complicated if the rogue is mobile and that's why a support case is recommended.

However, if you are actually looking to get the system to stop seeing a rogue as unfriendly, then the steps below might help.

1.  Select one or more rogue APs under HiveManager > Monitor > Rogue APs

2.  Select Management > Classify as Friendly APs

3.  Confirm

4. Observe the system confirmation
