Hi Ralph,

If you are utilizing automatic recurring PPSK the expiring keys will automatically be replaced by new keys on a schedule that you define. As far as I am aware there is no way to extent the validity of a PPSK short of redefining the User Group and issuing a new batch of keys.

If you need to introduce keys for select users that need to exceed the validity of your standard recurring PPSKs, then you might want to look into defining a second user group that generates keys valid once for a set period of time or are always valid. These keys can be handed out and used by select users while your primary set of rotating keys are also in use.

Hope this helps, but let me know if I have missed the point of your original question.

after much research and several emails I think I have a solution to my problem. Here is the scenario see what you think. I have three groups staff, students, & guests each group is on a separate vlan. Group staff will get a permanent ppsk this is the group that is timing out soon generated by csv file. students are now on captive portal but will be moved to ppsk with 2 year timeout configured with csv. I work for a 2 year residential school 11-12 grade. Guest is on captive protal and will stay that way but will be assigned by radius/WAP not AD. Does anyone see a problem with this? I also need the structure for the CSV to set this up with timeouts and no timeouts.
TIA
