Power on ethernet 1 interface for AP330

AP330 is connected to PoE switch. It only receives power when connected to Eth0 interface. I would like to make a redundant connection using Eth0 and Eth1. When Eth0 goes down access point is dead because it does not receive power. How to configure access point so that it receives power on Eth1 too?

I'm not absolutely certain, but I believe that only Eth0 can receive PoE.

Hello Marek,

Mike is correct, the AP350 and AP330 will only accept PoE power through Eth0.

This seems like an obvious flaw in the design. I feel like I was mislead when I bought the AP330 and AP350. It would stand to reason that dual redundant interfaces would also signal dual redundant PoE.

Are there any workarounds? Like running the power supply as a supplement?

Josh - Yes. Power Supply will work as a solution. The AP will still reboot and restart.
