I'm the tech person at a small high school and we have some free to use MacBook Pro's that we would like to be able to monitor. Normally a student has to sign out a MacBook but in the case that they don't and I come back from the bathroom to find MacBook-6 is missing for example, I want to be able to see who is logged into it and which AeroHive device they are on. Can AeroHive help with this? I've looked around myhive.aerohive.com but can't figure it out. Thanks.

Aerohive Client Management should be able to address your requirements.  Your HiveManager includes a license for 100 devices for 1YR.

How are the students authenticating?  Do you use Active Directory or some other authentication server?
