Dear,

I did a migration of our NPS server from windows 2008 to Windows2012R2 (same IP address as the old one), since then clients can not authenticate anymore through Aerohive AP.

Hi Kurt,

What troubleshooting steps have you followed?

What do the NPS logs show in the Event Viewer?

Have you looked at a packet capture on port 1812? What does this show?

Is the certificate configuration correct in NPS? Migrating the NPS configuration alone will not migrate the server certificate.

Regards,

Nick

Dear Nick, sorry for the late reply. Just some more info, we have 2 NPS servers, one windows 2008 (10.32.192.16) and one Windows 2012R2 (10.32.192.17). They both use the same certificate.
When i stop the NPS service on the windows 2008 server, authentication is not working, So the problem is that the 2012 R2 NPS server is not answering.
Can I send you some more info by email ?

Best Regards,

Kurt
