Lost settings on reboot?

This is my first time using an Aerohive device, it's an AP121, and I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm using it as a basic standalone access point, configured completely via SSH.

Here's the setup:

security-object pass

security-object pass security protocol-suite wpa2-aes-psk ascii-key ***

ssid xxx-24G

ssid xxx-24G security-object pass

ssid xxx-5G

ssid xx-5G security-object pass

interface wifi0 radio channel 6

interface wifi0 ssid xxx-24G

interface wifi1 ssid xxx-5G

config version 3

capwap client server name eval-xxx.aerohive.com

capwap client vhm-name xxx

Recently, when I switched the device from the power adapter to PoE, it rebooted, and all my settings were gone, and needed to be configured from scratch. Is this normal behaviour? I'm also interested in any suggestions you might have to improve this configuration.

Turns out I hadn't saved the settings before rebooting the device.

Yes, a "save config" always helps...

Many improvements can be done, according to what you need... but honestly, your best bet is to connect it to Aerohive's Hivemanager platform. Find a local reseller and ask him to provide you a 30 day HMOL evaluation account. He needs your AP's serial number to link it to the account.
