Log of client connections

Hello I am wondering how I go about finding a log file or anything that will show me old initial connections, username, IP, MAC etc.

For instance, it is very easy to go to Monitor > Clients > Active Clients and find my specified user. In my situation I would then use the IP address of their device to run some reporting on a different system.

However, say I want to find the IP address of John Doe's cell phone from yesterday and he isn't here today. How do I go about that?

I found this post: https://community.aerohive.com/aerohive/topics/log-of-connected-clients , although that simply doesn't work for me. I don't have a Reports > Clients.

While I am logged in as an admin, I have Reports but nothing of clients.
WHile I am logged in as a User Manager, I have Reports and an Active Clients, but again this does not serve my purpose.

I am certain this is a capability but I have not found it over several hours of searching. I am actually quite annoyed this isn't easier
