Licenses Access Point (Hive Manager, Support) questions

We have a wireless network with  a few Access Point 320/330/230. We buy AP (and Hive Manager support) with a distributor Aerohive that give us license key with each AP  bought. My question is if AP are bought to another distributor , can the license key received go with our Hive Manager ? Or it is necessary to buy a new Hive Manager ?
Another question is about all our licenses, how to find the Access Point that corresponds with the license (relation between license key and MAC-Address/Serial Number) , because some of our AP will be not be supported more.
Thanks for you help.

We have bought APs, routers, and switches from various resellers and have been able to license them to our on-prem HM. If you're using HMOL, there may be some extra steps to take to make sure they're on the correct account, but that should just be a matter of using a consistent email address tied to the HMOL account.
