Hi, hoping someone can help a newbie. I am currently using the Aerohive Manager. First question is how do I view the license screen?

Also, is there a way of viewing the current license Subscription End Date/ Support End Dates or  Entitlement Key for each device in the device inventory?

Thanks in advance,

Hi - Yes, go to the Home Menu, then License Management is at the bottom of the menu...  all the info is there - license details, entitlement keys,  and end dates etc.

To view your licensing in NG click on the person icon on the top right and go to account details:

Then Administration > License Management

From your HiveManagerNG, in the upper right corner of the page you'll see an 'Account' icon. Hover over that, then click 'Account Settings' and navigate to the 'Administration' section that should be listed on the left sidebar. There, you should see your HiveManagerNG license information that will show the start and end date.

As for each device, I'm not sure. I do know you can manage the APs manually via ssh even if your HiveManagerNG license has expired.

Hello MushyPeas,

You can view your license by following one of the following paths, depending on the type of HiveManager you are using.

HiveManager NG (where you log in via Click on the person shaped icon in the top right corner> Account Details> License Management (on the left hand side menu, under Administration).

HiveManager Classic (where you log in via Home tab (far left tab)> Administration> License Management (last option).

This page will show you the Subscription end date and the support end date. The licenses are for a certain number of devices, they are not tied to any one device itself. So the key allows you to have 10 devices in your hive manager for example, but it does not care which 10 you have.

Hope this helps!
