I've gone to sleep and I can't wake up!

We are having issues with clients moving from one AP to another. APs are connected to an SG 500 Cisco POE+ switch. If a device goes to sleep, moves to another AP, and is woken, it will not connect to the network. It will get the signal from the new/closest AP, but will not have network services for as long as 12 minutes. Has anyone run into this? Figured it out?

The SG500 is not running DHCP Snooping or IP Source Guard.

I have not worked with the Sg500, but it sounds strange

a couple of questions
is port security enabled
Are APs on different vlans - access ports or trunk ports or all on the default vlan
what wireless security are you using wpa/wpa2 personal or 802.1x
what clients are having the issue windoz, mac, etc...
Is roaming setup
anyway more info about the setup would be useful
any logs to look at in the hive

Maybe these will help
