Ahmed,

without seeing any data or knowing any more about the issue it could be hard to help.

Can you share the running configuration of the AP please?
Can you collect a client monitor log showing the failed connection?
Is it failing Aiuthentication or DHCP?

Thanks,
Gary

Do you have 802.11w (Protected Management Frames) configured/enabled on that SSID? If so, with BIP or not? Mandatory/optional?

I cannot think of another feature/change that was made/introduced with HiveOS 6.6r1 that would cut across a common class of clients like this.

Is this Windows clients with different wireless chipsets or are they all the same?

802.11w support is mandatory for all WHQL Windows 8 drivers and later.

Curious if you're hitting something in this area therefore.

As Gary says, more data definitely required to triage this one. Only speculation is possible based on what you've said. This is not something that I have noticed with 6.6r1/6.6r1a.

Thanks guys for your feedback, first of all could you please tell how to take client monitor log.

Second I don't think it would be a problem with authentication as client machines are able to connect with lower Hive OS version.

Please share your opinion.

Assuming you're using classic HiveManager, instructions on how to use Client Monitor can be found here:

I am also running classic Hivemanger 6.6 and AP230 were 6.6 but backed down to 6.4 in a large school district and ran into the same problem but it also effected iPads along with Windows 7 laptops and some BYOD devices.
