Individual AP Radio Rates

Is there a way to limit the data rates on a per-AP basis? I want to disable the 1&2Mbps data rates on just a few select AP's. I know how to change it on a global basis under the SSID settings, but I can't seem to find how to change it on just a select few AP's.

I am running AP330's and HMOL v.6.1r2b.

2 approaches, the first a little more work up front but easier in the long run.  The second, the opposite.

1) Clone your SSID and network policy.  The new SSID should have a new object name, but the same SSID name. Edit the data rates here. Put the new SSID into the new network policy, then deploy this network policy to the select few APs for which you want to change the default rates.  The modified APs have to reboot once when changing network policies.

2) Use the CLI on the select few APs and modify and enter these commands (foo = your SSID name)

ssid foo 11g-rate-set 5.5-basic 11-basic 6 9 12 18 24 36 48 54
save config

If you use method 2, you need to remember that when you push updates to the modified APs in the future you will wipe out the CLI command unless you do the following:

When updating in the future, use the Advanced Update Tool set to the "Compare with the last HiveManager config" setting.

Last note... If you decide to upgrade HiveManager and the firmware on your AP while going through this, make sure to go to firmware 6.1r3b.
