IDManager remove guest types / guest types feature requests

I am running a trial of ID Manager before we decide on purchasing the product or not.  We are running into a number of limitations that I am a bit surprised about since I thought this was suppose to be more feature rich than the PPSK User Groups in HiveManager.

Feature Request #1 - We are not using the CWP in IDM.  However...I am unable to delete the Guest Type that is associated with the CWP I am not using.  Because of this...if my users login to create a new guest, they see a guest type that will not ever work.  I can rename this Guest Type to 'Do Not Use' but it would be nicer to just remove it entirely.

Feature Request #2 - It would be nice to have multiple Guest Types that can be restricted by Admin group.  For example...if my Operator group could assign to Guest type 'Visitor' but my Admin group could have a number of other guest types (ones that have a lot longer expiration for example) that I don't necessarily want everybody to be able to assign.

Feature Request #3 - Once a guest is created...It would be nice if somebody in my Admin group could extend the expiration time on that specific user...in case they are staying longer or if things change.  Right now they have to re-register.  Since my admin can not define expiration times...only pick from the preselected Guest types...this would be helpful.  It would also be nice if my admin group could pick a guest type but then adjust the expiration if needed.

Thanks.

I've already raised feature request #1 some weeks ago and it was accepted by the developers as a bug so expect and hope this will get fixed soon.

Feature request #2 I also raised within 5 minutes of ID Manager being GA and I know this is also being considered by the product managers - every single one of my customers that use ID Manager have asked for this!

Feature request #3 is a good idea too in my view :)

Thanks for the reply...I didn't realize those requests had been made already so...good to know.  I second your request!

On request #3...if I re-register the person with the same name it kills their current password...which is also a challenge on timing.  Just extending the existing account would really be helpful.

I have several sites that would be great candidates for ID Manager but the issues above stop me recommending it.  I passed the feature requests through to Aerohive last year.

Definitely need #2, its basically the only thing holding me back from deploying IDM globally,  and #3 would be nice as well.

#1 will be addressed in an upcoming release in the not too distant future. The other requests are also being investigated.
