I tried the IDM and it works but it's really few flexible.
I need to create different operators that create accounts for different SSID.
Furthermore, for example an operator have to create accounts with the profiles 4 hours/8 hours/16 hours and an other operator with the profiles 1 day/1 week / 2 weeks.
The operator have to see only the accouts that he created.

Is it possible to do?

I had exactly your issue. When I enabled an IDM trial on an HiveManager Online (HMOL) I lost the ability to assign specific SSIDs and/or Private PSK local user groups to a User Manager Operator account. When I had the IDM trial removed it had modified my HMOL and the Home -> Administrators -> Administrators menu item had disappeared. The Home -> Administrators -> Administrator Groups menu item was still visible though. To resolve this Aerohive Support created a new HMOL for me and I reconfigured the HMOL from scratch.

From my experience I would say that you cannot use reoccurring Private PSK local user groups and a User Manager Operator (a common guest administration configuration) with IDM.

Hi Crowdie,
I don't understand how you managed the guest/temporary users just with the hivemanager.
Are you able to have a user that can only create users in a easy way? (not for a technical administrator)
Thanks

Create the guest Private PSK local users groups as reoccurring Private PSKs with the appropriate date/time limits.

In the Home -> Administrators -> Administrators create a new User Manager Operator account. Be very careful that the time zone specified in the new User Manager Operator account is the same as the HiveManager.

Once you can see the new User Manager Operator account in the Administrators list click on it and you will now see the "Limit operator access to the selected Private PSK User Groups" and "Limit operator access to the selected SSID Profiles" options at the bottom. Enable both of these.

Limit operator access to the selected Private PSK User Groups - Enables you to limit the User Manager Operator account to only be able to activate Private PSKs from the selected Private PSK local user group(s).

Limit operator access to the selected SSID Profiles - Enables you to limit the User Manager Operator account to only be able to activate Private PSKs for the selected SSID(s).

You now have a lobby administrator account using just HiveManager.

The current limitations of User Manager Operator accounts:

* They can activate temporary Private PSKs but cannot revoke them. I have asked Aerohive to fix this limitation.
* They can only activate temporary Private PSKs and not permanent Private PSKs.

I'm trying but I get this message:
Cannot create any temporary user accounts. Please contact the administrator.

You need to ensure that the Private PSK local user groups are assigned to the correct SSIDs in the Network Policy. Check that the Network Policy is assigned to the access points and do a complete upload to the access points.

OK finally it works. Thanks.
Can be an option. Unfortunatelly it's not possible to create the accounts with a duration that start at the first login.
It will be nice to know the future features of IDM
