ID Manager Kiosk Timeout

An operator user has enabled kiosk mode for ID manager on a device in an office reception. After a certain time the session is expired so we have to log back in as the operator account to use the kiosk. We want to leave the kiosk up and running with no intervention. Is there a way that the session expiration can be altered or switched off?

You can set the auto login feature which should stop this happening.

Goto ID Manager, Configuration Tab at the top, then ID Manager Settings on the left hand menu, under here select Registration UI. Halfway down the page there is a Registration section, select Registration Kiosk and under there is the Auto Login option.

Phil,

Thanks for the prompt reply, isn't that just for the guest's details? This is from the help: "Select this check box to have ID Manager remember a guest's login information for a period of time. In the Remember last login status field, choose how long the information will be remembered". Am I misreading this? Quite possible.

Hi Tim,

I understand your point and will suggest we make it clearer in the help, but this is the field that will control how long a user in kiosk mode is left logged in.
