Are you talking about the admin password, or a user's private PSK, or something different? If it's the admin password I believe your only recourse is the reset the unit to factory-default and then re-provision it.

I am sorry, I did not give too much information but yes, is the admin password.
I though I could reset this password.

So if you have access to the CLI of the AP, you can issue the following command to add or change the admin credentials.

admin root-admin <username> password <password>

How are you accessing the cli without the admin password?

I cannot access it, I just put the serial cable and turn on the Ap but I don't know the password.

I am using the HiveManager but I cannot reset it even when I reset the AP.

What happens when you go to Configuration, Devices, (selected device), Credentials, Root Admin Configuration?

I maybe have a similar problem... We are trying to log in to AP device via SSH... We entered our user and password that we had to access the Hivemanger..but it doesn't work. What are the credentials do I have to use ? I read that by default it is u :admin and p: aerohive...but doestn't work  either. Any ideas ?
