***This answer is accurate as of 5.1r3. The numbers are subject to change in any future HiveOS release. Make sure to check release notes for the most updated values***

The numbers in the last row in the table (40,000/80,000) are the total numbers of private PSK users that can be bound to different SSIDs. Although the total number of private PSK users per device is 4096/9999, you can bind those same users to multiple SSIDs. For example:

  1. You load a private PSK user group named “ug1” with 9999 users on an AP330/AP350. You can't add any more users to this device.

  2. You create "ssid ssid1 user-group ug1". That SSID already has the maximum number of private PSK users bound to it (Private PSK users per SSID). You can’t bind any more users to it.

  3. However, you can create "ssid ssid2 user-group ug1" and "ssid ssid3 user-group ug1" because the maximum number of private PSK users bound to different SSIDs is 80,000 for the AP330/AP350.

* Although a CVG and BR200 do not have radios, you can still push SSIDs to them and associate private PSK user groups with the SSIDs. This triggers each device to generate private PSK users so that it can function as a private PSK server.
