How to setup auto logon to wireless network machine poilicy

Hi Thomas,

You do this by configuring a group policy.

Edit the group policy you want this to apply to, and go to "Computer Configuration -> Policies -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Wireless Network (IEEE 802.11) Policies" and right click to "Create a New Wireless Network Policy for Windows Vista and Later Releases".

Give it a name and click "Add" to add your wireless network.

Add your SSID here and make sure "Connect automatically when this network is in range" is checked.

Under the security tab, make sure "Computer authentication" is selected. Configure the rest of the settings as needed.

The clients that get this group policy should now automatically connect to your SSID using their machine credentials. Note that it might take a while before a client refreshes its policy. You can use gpupdate to force it.
