How to install Cloud VPN Gateway Virtual Appliance on Hyper-V?

I know that running CVG on HyperV is not supported but I hope that someone can guide me through this.

1. I managed to convert the VMDK in the downloaded OVA to a VHD disk using VirtualBox and I am able to boot the VM. But i'm seeing some boot errors and I'm not able to log on.

Logging on using the default password or our customized admin password just asks for a username again:

Has anyone been able to get this linux host started in HyperV? What else needs to be done?

2. The docs state that when you try to activate a CVG, a license key is send by e-mailed. But to which address?

Hi Tiele,

Hyper-V is not supported: there aren't any Hyper-V driver under HiveOS for managing the ethernet virtual card and other hardware interface.
You can use ESXi instead.

Roberto,

I figured as much but I don't like to a VM within VM.

Can you tell me which hardware HiveOS needs? I can possibly inject other drivers in the HiveOS drive...

You can't inject. There is no way, sorry.
