HM intuitive client push

Since HM is already aware of client AP model, why not allow HM to push appropriate HiveOS firmware to selected clients?
Doing so will allow admins to push per location, floor, etc. without the hassle of selecting upgrades based upon hardware models and without the fear of pushing the incorrect model's firmware, causing failures and errors.

Have you looked at the settings available under "Upload and Activate HiveOS Software"?

Thanks for the reply Mike. I was actually looking for something relating to the AP model, rather than the HiveOS version.
In other words...rather than selecting a group of 350's and pushing, I'd like to be able to
1) From Configuration window, make a selection, say based upon topology map.
2) Select all the AP's within that filter, regardless of model.
3) Select "Upload and Activate HiveOS software".
4) Eliminate the models from the "HiveOS Image" pulldown menu, only showing the HiveOS versions, i.e. 6.0r2, 5.4, etc...
5) Let HM determine the various AP model types and the corresponding HiveOS image.
6) Push, reboot, etc.

I hope this makes sense.

Best,
BJ
