hm admin authentication

Has anyone any experience from using AD accounts for hivemanager login?
I have tried setting up hivemanager to authenticate both local and via RADIUS with MSCHAPv2 under home->hivemanager services-> hm admin authentication.
It works to login in with an AD account, but it gets in the monitoring only group.
Is there a way to make the AD account to be in another group, say for example the Configuration and monitoring group?
Could you use any RADIUS attributes to map users to groups? or is there another way?

Sounds like you got the basics working, and you just need to fine tune it now.

The RADIUS server needs to deliver an attribute value. That value matches the attribute number for an admin group within HiveManager. So on the RADIUS side of things, you could assign one AD group to a RADIUS policy delivering attribute 65, then a second RADIUS policy delivering attribute 75 for a different AD group.

65 goes to HiveManager admin group monitor only, 75 goes to HiveManager admin group config and monitor.

These numbers assume you have created custom admin groups. You can easily use the attribute numbers of the built-in groups instead.

We put together a document showing how to do the integration, which can be found here.
