Hiveschool Problems

A classroom of Chromebooks joins a teacher's class.  Randomly, machines start leaving the classroom.  Does anyone know what is causing the Chromebooks to "leave the classroom".  I have watched the students.  They do nothing but sign into the classroom and then the teacher's computer shows that they left the classroom.  Usually around 2 minutes or less, others take more time to "leave the classroom"

Hi Andrea,
I'm the Product Manager for HiveSchool. I've noticed that some ChromeBook hardware isn't quite powerful enough to support the product. Can I ask what model of ChromeBooks you are using?
We have a release due out in a few weeks which will do a quick system check before unlocking certain CPU-intensive features. Additionally, the issue may be network. HiveSchool is a relatively new product, and we're only now seeing network and CPU checks that should be built to help identify the cause of performance issues.

I hope you'll have patience with us and feel free to email hiveschool@aerohive.com if you have more questions!

Thank you,
Daniel O'Rorke

Hi Cheri,
we have not yet released the new update. QA found some additional unrelated bugs to fix that we're attempting to roll into this release. I'll have an updated ETA in a week.
