I am trying to update an AP121 with HMOL. All updates Fail with the following description:
The HiveOS version control file (HiveAP121 5.1.1.0) is missing. Please contact Aerohive Technical Support for assistance. The configuation generation error might have been caused by a HiveManager software upgrade or configuration restoration.

Any one seen this before?

This means you might be running a newer version of HiveOS than HiveManager. Version control files are how HiveManager keeps track of what commands to push to which device running which version. What version of HiveOS do you have and which HiveManager?

I was indeed running an older HiveManager version. Upgrading resolved the issue. Thanks.
