Hivemenager upgrade 6.1r3a to current version 6.4r2

I am planning an upgrade to HiveManager form 6.1r3a to 6.4r2 so we can use AP230 Aerohives. Our existing network has mixture AP120 an AP121.

I would like to keep the number of AP firmware/config updates to minimum and so reduce the number of AP restarts. Can just upgrade straight to 6.4r2?

Or what the most effect upgrade path? (eg 6.1r3a>6.1r5>6.1r6>6.4r2 with a AP config update and reboot at each revision).

You should be able to upgrade directly from 6.1r3 to 6.4r2 which will certainly reduce the number of full configuration pushes required and therefore the number of updates- although I believe that your AP120's are no longer supported by this release...may be worth checking.

Luke,
You are correct that there is not a 6.4 release for the AP120s, which is 6.2r1, but they are still supported by HM. David, please be aware that HM will support EOL devices, including devices as old as our AP20s which are running 3.4r4. Just be sure to review the release notes.

I upgraded Hievemanger and one of each type AP120,AP121 and AP230 to 6.4 release.
Current testing the upgraded devices and have found no issues so far.
Thanks for you replies.
