Hivemanager on Hyper V not using full allocated disk size

We have encountered some disk space issues on our current Hivemanager installation. We are using Hyper V so when we expand the disk Hivemanager does not use the full allocated disk size. After speaking to our support for the product they suggested the following.
  • Back up hivemanager
  • create new VM in Hyper V with a larger fixed disk size
  • Re-install hivemanager
  • Restore from backup
  • Reset Licenses for new installation

I have installed the 1u 32b ISO to the new fixed disk of 120GB however when i run the Storage Usage Tool using the CLI it reports that the current partition size is 56gb rather than 120gb.

I understand that Hivemanager is not fully supported on Hyper V but any ideas on how to get the partition to use the full allocated space would be very helpful.

Hi Steve,

The 1u creates a 120BG disk size but creates two partitions.  There will be a primary partition along with the backup partition so that is why you are seeing a smaller size on each individual partition versus the entire disk size.
