Hivemanager Virtual Machine connection issues to default gateway.

I have a Hivemanager virtual machine on VLAN 10 with the IP address its network connection is the virtual switch on the Virtual Machine host. The physical port of the host is tagged in VLAN 10 on the core switch.

It can ping other clients in the subnet, for example an AP with the IP address

But it cannot ping its default gateway which is the Core Switch with an IP address on VLAN 10 of

The Core Switch cannot ping back to the Hivemanager virtual machine either.

The AP that I mentioned above CAN ping the default gateway, it can also ping my machine which is in a different subnet on the default VLAN 1 with an IP address of

And it can also ping out to the internet such as google.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? Apology's if this question is asked elsewhere.

My first instinct would advise you to check your native vlan for both the vm and the trunk port on the core. What does the core mac table reveal? Is anything else on vlan 10 able to ping the vm and vice versa? It is less likely, but certainly look for an address conflict.

It appears your AP is behaving as expected, so once the vm can traverse the gateway, all should work.
