HiveManager 8.1r2

When trying to create a new SSID, I always get the message "This operation is invalid"
Two SSIDs are still created, these were taken from the previous version 6.
I deleted the third SSID and must create it again as soon as possible!

Hi,

I think I have identified what the problem may be for your VHM. Please can you try again?

Thanks,

Nick

Hi Nick,

Just for my understanding, do you have access to customers infrastructure if they use HiveManager NG ?

Thanks for your great support on every thread BTW

Hi Fabien,

The change made to this Cloud HM Classic (HMOL) VHM was to switch its operational mode from Express to Enterprise, which has no licensing implications. No modification was made to customer configuration or customer infrastructure, as you put it, to solve this issue.

In HMNG, you need to add an Aerohive employee as an external operator to allow access and changes to configuration.

In Cloud HM Classic (HMOL), you have the ability to configure the privileges that Aerohive employees have over a VHM,

Regards.

Nick

Hi Nicolas,

That VHM is currently configured to deny access to Aerohive support.

You should be able to transition to Enterprise mode support from within the UI. This is permitted for that VHM

The underlying issue has also been resolved with HiveManager 8.2r1

Nick

To all those following this thread, we have corrected this for the next HiveManager Classic release so that Express mode can create SSIDs. For now, switching to Enterprise mode solves the problem.

Thanks,

Nick
